We are working with Outback Steakhouse to promote their incredible new menu Raise the Steaks. When I say incredible, I am talking about both taste and appearance.

Every now and then you just need to change things up and go big! Go big is exactly what Outback Steakhouse is doing, I am talking about combining signature items and not only going big, but also . . . going high!
That is exactly what Outback is doing, check out some of these pictures. How do you make an Outback Steakhouse Filet even better? Stack a skewer of grilled shrimp on top of it. As if that wasn’t enough, lets perfect it and place it all atop a crispy hash brown cake! If you are reading this around lunch time, make sure to find the closest Outback Steakhouse to you, you can get there for lunch or hold out for dinner!
Raise The Steaks
So Outback is having some fun with their new menu Raise the Steaks. They are taking “Raise” literally and seeing how creative they can be. This new inspiration is available from start to finish. I wanted to share my ideal meal on the Raise the Steaks menu, now of course, we are assuming that I have 3 stomachs to eat it all, but hey . . . that’s what carry-out boxes are for!
First of all, I would start out with an Over The Top Side Salad, let’s go with the Blue Cheese Wedge Salad, look at this salad, I bet you weren’t thinking Outback could make a Raise the Steaks with a salad, huh?
For my entrée, I am torn. I love the stacking of the of the filet on the crispy hash brown cake, but it was a tough decision between the beer-battered onion rings or the grilled shrimp. My winner is the grilled shrimp, just look at this meal, what a great combination of tastes between the seasoned grilled shrimp, filet and hash browns . . . yummmmm.
Now for dessert, let’s talk about raising the steaks and going big! A tower is pretty big, right? How about a towering 6 layer chocolate cake drizzled with raspberry sauce – this is made for sharing. So ask for a couple of forks and dig in!
We forgot about one important aspect of a dinner experience, what to drink? Of course Outback has an impressive assortment of wines and beers. But, I think I would decide to go with a cocktail and see how creative Outback can get as the raise a glass. The Root Beer Old Fashioned not only tastes great, but check out the stack of Bordeaux cherries. Even the cocktails can Raise the Steaks at Outback!
