When we lived in Cleveland we discovered the Puritas Nursery Holiday Train Display. It’s up for a few weeks every year and we’ve made it festive and fun holiday tradition. Now that we live in Michigan, if we are in the Cleveland area when it’s up, we make a special trip over. It is made of multiple train sets and changes every year and it’s free!
Here’s a few photos and a video from this year’s display.
As well as tunnels for kids to crawl through (Kora & Logan just barely still fit!).
They also have multiple scavenger hunts that send you searching for all kinds of things including alligators, a popcorn machine, a post office, Superman, and more. The scavenger hunts are so much fun and a great way to get you to pay attention to all the little things that make up the train sets.
Here are a few photos from past years. You can see the attention to detail, it’s amazing!
We highly recommend a trip out to Puritas Nursery in Cleveland, Ohio if you are in the area. As I said it’s free, but they do accept donations. This year the train display will run through December 31st. It’s a fun way to celebrate the holidays and a wonderful family tradition filled with memories for years to come!
