Virtual reality is everywhere we look these days. What seemed hard to imagine and futuristic for years is now starting to show up in every day households. With virtual reality headsets and the ability to scroll around 360 degree videos on Facebook and YouTube everyone has a chance to feel like you are in the middle of your dream destination when you are actually relaxing comfortably at home.
Monster Digital Vision 360 Virtual Reality Camera received.
Even Kora & Logan are amazed by virtual reality. Kora got a kids headset awhile back and we just slip a phone in and we can swim with dolphins, ride rollercoasters at Cedar Point, view museum displays from every angle, and even play video games. It’s incredible and feels like you are right then among it all.
That’s why I am excited about the Monster Digital Vision 360 Virtual Reality Camera. It gives you the opportunity to record your own 360 degree/virtual reality videos and would make the perfect Father’s Day gift!
When I read about the camera, my first thought was it would have been amazing to take it on our trip to Seabrook Island last summer. The beaches are large and empty and beautiful. Regular photos and videos don’t do it justice. It would have been the perfect place to set up the camera and record a video so we could relive the trip as if we were right there on that incredible beach again.
Since we couldn’t take it back to Seabrook, we recently had fun as a family at a local park and took the Monster Digital Vision 360 Camera along with us.
I uploaded the video to YouTube. Go ahead!
As you watch the video right here in the blog post, you can scroll around it in every direction to see us playing frisbee, catch, and the kids running a race.
Here’s a look at Kora and Logan showing you how the playback in the Monster Vision VR Viewer works, it’s an easy to download app for your desktop. You can see that you are able to choose where they look by tilting, panning, zooming in, and even seeing all the way around, 360 degrees, and in multiple angles for an amazing immersive experience.
You can also take 360 photos as well which when you open in the app you can scroll around them in the same way. Amazing!
I was also impressed with the incredible amount of accessories that come with the camera.
- Bar mount for bicycle
- Open frame
- Suction cup for windshield
- Tri-pod adapter
- Micro SD adapter
- Strap mount
- USB card reader and cable
- Y pivot
- XY pivot
- …and more
The Monster Digital Vision 360 Virtual Reality Camera also has three modes:
- Video – record 360 virtual reality video
- Dash-cam – in this mode, the camera continuously creates files three minutes long
- Photo – simply press the Shutter button to take a picture
Once you use the camera to create a 360 virtual reality video you can share it with your family, friends, and your fans easily through the Monster Vision VR Viewer on your computer. With this app you can convert the video and then upload it to Facebook and YouTube. Once the video is on YouTube is will have a directional button in the upper left corner so viewers can scroll up, down and around the video just like in our family fun video above.
Monster Digital makes it easy to learn how to use the camera, the app on your phone, the Monster Vision VR Viewer, and all the accessories through a wonderful collection of tutorials on YouTube that you can watch here.

We have had the Monster Digital Vision 360 Virtual Reality Camera for a few weeks now and are amazed at the videos we can create with it. We can’t wait to take it on our next vacation! This would make a memorable gift for the Father’s Day as well as for the hard to buy person in your life, the photographer, the videographer, the adventurer, the new grad, the tech lover, and the traveler. It’s also a wonderful way for families to never miss a thing during those important events in your kids lives.
I can’t believe how clear it is. I know just the person I would get this for, and I know they will love it.
