Do you have a love/hate relationship with photo studios? Getting everyone looking their best and feeling photogenic on the same day at the same time can be stressful. Especially if you are trying to get a photo of babies or young children (often tweens and preteens can make it tough too!). Not only that but it can be expensive. Studios often charge you an arm and a leg for photos you’ll never look at again. Why do you need 30 sizes of the same picture and why should you pay for them if you don’t want them?
This post is sponsored by Krome and credits were received.
That’s why I’m excited about the Krome Studio App.
You can send in your photos and have them professionally edited within 24 hours for a few dollars a photo. They have a many editing options from $4.99 to $14.99 including color correcting, color filters, removing objects from the background, and more, but my favorite is their LookBooks. You can choose from a wide variety of backgrounds to make your photo look like it was taken in a studio.
For example, I took a picture of Kora laying on our living room floor. Then I found a fall background I liked and sent it off through the app to be Kromed. Check out the after!
Doesn’t it look amazing?! I am excited to print it out and frame it!
If you aren’t happy you can have it retouched up 3 times. Just let the editors know the changes you would like to see and they will make the adjustments.
The kids and I browsed through the LookBooks to select other backgrounds for photos. There are many studio looks that would be great for babies, families, couples, and more. In fact there are so many backgrounds to choose from that there is something for everyone including:
- Selfies
- Sports
- Adventure
- Out of This World
- Travel
- Story Time
- Romance
- Make Believe
- Fairytales
- Wedding
- Pregnancy
- Babies
- Kids
- Prom
- Everyday Looks
- Birthdays
- Indoor Backgrounds
- Outdoor Backgrounds
There are seasonal LookBooks too and this month those include:
- Halloween
- Fall
- Presidential Election
Once Kora and Logan picked out the backgrounds they liked from the Krome Studio LookBooks, they excitedly posed for their photos. Kora picked a mix of seasonal photos.
Logan went with an adventure theme.
I absolutely love these photos and the kids were amazed!
Kora’s fall leaves photo and Logan’s riding the elephant may be my favorites but I’m impressed by them all and how quickly they were done.
And how easy too! We took all these pictures in less than 5 minutes in our living room. See all that stuff in the backgrounds of our photos and bad lighting? Gone! And instead we get beautiful, memorable, and fun pictures in their places!
Awhile back the kids and I had gone shopping and took a selfie by a fountain. It’s one of my favorite pictures of us together, but I thought what if we had Krome Studio add a beach background?
Here’s the original:
And here’s the same photo Kromed.
Here’s the Kromed version downloaded.
When I saw it, I was blown away! It looks like we are on a beach together! Now I want to Krome more photos!
I absolutely love Krome Studio and can’t recommend it enough, especially to those who hate going to the photo studio or find it too costly.
It’s free to download the app and then you get your first photo for $1.99 and the backgrounds are $4.99 each. That’s an incredible price compared to studio photos! They also offer other services including removing objects from the background, color correcting, restoring or repairing photos, all for various prices. And you can refer a friend and get credits.
They will even add in props for you and people too!
Be sure to follow them on social media for more customer examples. They share a lot of before and afters as well as discount codes too, so you can save even more money!
