Have you seen the #1 new comedy, Kevin Can Wait yet? It just moved to a new time – Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.
One of my favorite shows, that I still stop love to stop and watch reruns of is King Of Queens. Kevin James, as Doug Heffernan, always makes me laugh. That’s why I was excited to see him starring in the new show Kevin Can Wait.
In this show, Kevin James, plays Kevin Gable a Long Island police officer who retires at 45. He is looking forward to retirement with dreams of going to Mets games and lots of time for himself. However, he quickly learns that he’s not going to have a lot of “me” time after all.
His 14-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son are having issues at school and his 20-year-old daughter is home visiting from college with a few surprises of her own. On top of that, to bring in extra income, Kevin’s wife wants to rent out their converted garage apartment and finding the right tenant becomes tricky.
Whether’s it’s at his retirement party or just making plans with his fellow retired friends, Kevin realizes that life at home will not be as carefree as he hoped. But with good friends and and the love of his family, Kevin will make the most out of the next chapter of his life and I’ll be looking forward to lots of laughs along the way!
While I’m not retired, I can definitely relate to Kevin’s struggles of trying to find that “me” time while putting his family’s needs first. As a mom blogger, I work from home and there is a lot to do. With blogging, keeping up with the house, running errands, and being there for the kids when they come home from school, helping them tackle homework, running them to and from after school activities, getting dinner together, and helping address any last minute things that always pop up. I love being a mom and enjoy every minute with the kids.
Being a blogger allows me to spend lots of time with Kora and Logan and to have a flexible schedule so I can watch relatable shows like Kevin Can Wait and have a good laugh at the end of the day.
It’s is a funny show with a unique storyline that I haven’t seen before. I like that it’s full of Kevin James’ laugh out loud humor and has me excited to tune in every week.
As we all know, Mondays can be stressful and a great way to wind down is with a few laughs while watching Kevin Can Wait. Be sure to watch at the new time, Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.

I’ve been watching and really enjoying this series. I’m not the biggest sitcom fan, but I think this one is pretty funny. Plus, it has a great cast.
Absolutely love this show! Kevin James cracks me up :)
