I love writing about wearable tech, it is a current and future trend to pay close attention to. There are and will be so many more health benefits thanks to this technology. .
Scale received.
That’s why I was excited about the iHealth Core Wireless Body Composition Scale. It is a game changer.
To call it a scale is doing it a major disserviceI kinda feel like an old man thinking “remember the simple days when you got on a scale to see how much you weigh.” The iHealth Core Wireless Scale is much more than your scale from the good ol’ days.
Just like many wearable technology items, the iHealth Core Wireless Scale provides you with data that you can use to get on the right track with your health. It is a nice and easy process too, connecting with your smartphone you are able to track and record many aspects of your body’s composition, such as;
- Weight
- Body Mass Index
- Lean Mass, Muscle Mass, & Bone Mass
- Water Weight
- Visceral Fat Rating
Everything above is recorded from just stepping on this scale and making sure you are touching all 4 of the sensors.
Now the iHealth Core Wireless Scale is pretty remarkable by itself, but what I am really impressed is with the new iHealth MyVitals App and how it connects to the scale and other iHealth devices and provides an incredibly impressive array of information and raw data.
The scale connects to your WiFi and sends the data to the iHealth Cloud where you can analyze all the data on your Apple or Android device.
Being able to see and monitor your trends and progressions is invaluable when you are starting something new. Whether this is a new exercise regimen or a medication, you are able to track not just your weight, but the changes in your body composition.
The MyVitals App also has the ability to help you track and manage your calories. You are able to log your daily food consumption thanks to an expanded food log database. You are then able to take that data and create your own Excel or PDF report so you can easily share this info with doctors or caregivers.
As for the iHealth Core Wireless Scale, I am also impressed by the number of users you are able to keep track of. 10 unique users, much more than your average family, are able to use the scale and the app. Also, if the scale goes offline, or the wireless acts up, the scale is able to record and then sync up to 200 offline readings.
The iHealth Core Wireless Scale is much more than “just a scale” it is a welcome change in how you are able to track your health and monitor improvements or when you need to make a tweak to your routine.
For all the scale can do, it comes at a very reasonable price of $129.99. It is available at Walmart.com, Amazon.com and BestBuy.com, it is also available in retail at Best Buy and a growing list of stores as well.
The future is changing, and we need to continue to embrace how technology can help us out and keep us healthier, the iHealth Core Wireless Scale and other products of the iHealth lineup will help you do that.
Turn your old scale into a paperweight and start to see how your body is really composed!
