That’s why I’m excited to receive for review the Kidde Fire Safety Remote Lync Monitor that helps you easily monitor your home even while you are away.
The Kidde Remote Lync Monitor is a small 2.5″ cube that you plug into your outlet. It monitors your home and using your WiFi it will immediately alert you through the RemoteLync App if your home’s existing smoke or carbon monoxide alarms sound.
It can notify you through in app notifications, text, email, or a even phone call. You can also set up a network of contacts to be notified as well as call 911 directly.

Set up is easy:
- Take Kidde RemoteLync out of the box and plug it in
- Download the RemoteLync app from the iTunes or Google Play Store
- Set up your account in the app with contact info, wait for the confirmation email to come through, click the link using your mobile device, add your monitor using your home’s WiFi, and then run through some tests to be sure it can hear your alarms

The Kidde RemoteLync does not require any additional products or monthly fees. It works with your home’s existing alarms and uses your WiFi to notify you. It also uses patented technology to distinguish smoke and carbon monoxide alarms from background noise.
