Kora and Logan are very active kids. Throughout the summer they will spend almost the entire day running, biking, and playing outside. This makes Dave and I very happy. It reminds us of how we spent our childhoods running, jumping, playing basketball, building forts, and more outdoors.
This post is sponsored by Blue Goji & Goji Play was received.
However, until we had kids we didn’t realize how much Daylight Savings Time would affect our kids activity levels. They get out of school at 4 and it’s dark by 5. By the time they get home and settled there’s almost no time for them to get out to play. We’ve noticed the difference too, they are much happier kids when they have the chance to burn off all that energy and being cooped up inside on those chilly and dark winter nights doesn’t do anyone any favors.
That’s why I’m excited to work about Goji Play and the Goji Play 2.0 apps for either iOS or Android devices. The Goji Play arrives 2 in a box and look like wearables for your wrist however you actually slide them on or fasten them to the handles on cardio equipment like elliptical machines, steppers, and bikes.
It also comes with two batons on which you can attach the bands.
Once you open the apps, you are encouraged to get moving! The games are fun and the more you move the better you do!
Here’s a look at some of the games:
Smash The Blocks
Kreature Krunch
Moto X
Speed Bump
Spin Or Die
Fisticuffs
More apps are coming soon including Trail Run, Goji Farm, Paper Dash, Castle Cart, Blimp Breaker, Trivia Time Scholar, and more.
Be sure to check out the hashtag #GetUpAndGojiPlay on social media to see the Goji Play devices and Goji Play 2.0 apps in action.
These games are fun for kids and are the perfect antidote for the winter couch potato. As I mentioned, the Goji Play devices and the apps incorporate your speed and intensity into your game play. They are all fun and challenging but my favorite game is Smash the Blocks. You guide a little rolling ball, Rollio, through 18 levels in and endless runner type game. He can move side to side and even jump (though I don’t think he likes it very much!).
Along the way you avoid obstacles and bad guys all the while trying to save other cute Rollio friends. It’s a fun game that even younger kids will enjoy.
Since using the Goji Play devices and Goji Play 2.0 apps as a family, we have all been more active. They making working out fun and the time flies by so quickly! We even look forward to working out now and seeing if we can improve our scores in the apps or beat our last attempt.
I can see how using these throughout the winter would solve our problem of the kids lower activity levels. Not only do Kora and Logan love getting outside and running around but they adore tech, gadgets, and apps so this is a perfect fit! They will be excited about this for ages and I can see them asking to “Goji Play” every day!
I recommend Goji Play and the Goji Play 2.0 apps to anyone looking for a way to #GetEmOffTheCouch this winter. It’s a fun way for the whole family to get more exercise this winter and to increase their activity levels all while playing fun games.
If you purchase now, you can get $10 off and free shipping on Goji Play through this link and using the code: TESAN10.
NOTE: It is not recommended for children under 6
Looks so cool!
I have seen this in a few different blogs, it is interesting, especially since I need music or tv to exercise on a machine.
I’m always looking for fun games that get us up and moving. Thank you for the review!
Looks like fun
These look like a great winter toy, when it is so much harder to keep active.
I love fun activities that keep the kids moving.
This is pretty neat. It sure would make working out a bit fun! :)
