I have always found it amazing how quickly our kids have taken to the iPad and iPhone. We let them play toddler friendly apps when they were 2 and 3.
This post is sponsored by GazzliWorld.
Within minutes they were swiping, pinching, and zooming like they were born knowing how to do it. Now that they are older sometimes it seems they can work our smartphones and tables better than us!
Thankfully Kora & Logan are also at an age where they love learning., so when they do play on the iPad we make sure the majority of the games are both fun and educational. That’s why we are excited about GazziliWords.
GazziliWords places your child into a learning playground. With 24 different learning topics, your child will have all sorts of fun learning experiences while combining the touch screen interaction and basic reading.
Kids can learn about fingerprints, rainbows and balance while playing quick fun games which will allow them to improve their reading, hand-eye coordination.
The app does a nice job introducing each topic. I like that the intro consists of a quick and cute question and answer based on that specific topic, and then you get to interact and play a quick game about the topic.
For example, Rainbow starts off with the question “What is a Rainbow?” and the fun response “Does it rest on the ground? Can birds fly through it?”
After a brief explanation of what a rainbow is, you are taken to another screen where your child can swipe to make it rain, swipe some more to erase the raindrops and then bring out the rainbow.
Another example of a fun, charming game is the Balance activity. Your child gets to build and then balance an ice cream cone. The cone has all sorts of delicious toppings.
After it is built you have to use your tablet or smartphone to balance it and keep it from tipping over.
Each topic has its own unique way of educating your child; your child will have the opportunity to learn about:
- Patience
- Electricity
- Dreams
- Time
- Internet
- the Body
- Family
- …and many more!
Each topic is distinctive and will have your child wanting more. GazziliWorld has many educational games available and the first three are free. GazziliWords is available for download at the iTunes and GooglePlay Store. I recommend checking this app out, your child will not realize they are learning because they will be having so much fun!
We do believe all of the concepts you may have shown to this page. They may be pretty convincing which enable it to absolutely operate. Still, your articles are extremely small for novices. Might you please extend these somewhat coming from the next occasion? Was looking for posting.
This sounds like a fun app. My sister is always looking for something that will help her son learn new things and this sounds great. I think how they explain a rainbow is great. Thanks.
I have been looking for an app for my daughter to enjoy on my phone, and something age appropriate! thanks for sharing!
I LOVE this! Now I have to look up and see if it is available for android!
These are very cute apps! Will have to check into getting these!
I OVE this app! I will give it to my niece for her little iPad Mini.
My son loves learning apps like this one.
Thanks for the great review. I know this is the perfect app for my Granddaughter. She starts kindergarten soon and we are doing everything we can to prepare her. Of course these games would be welcomed and she would enjoy and learn at the same time. She loves learning new things and is so proud when she accomplishes it. I purchased some learning games we can play when I keep her, but this is something she can start now.
I’ve been looking for new educational apps for my son’s iPad for when we go on vacation. I’ll have to keep this in mind!
Great recommendation and details! I have twins on the way and this will be a great one to have ready for them when they’re old enough to start playing the ipad. :)
Cute app! I am going to have to download it for the grandkids.
We have gone back to homeschooling our LO. This looks perfect for some fun educational playtime
looks like fun
I like that it is educational.
My favorite would be the math app. I was fortunate enough to win the iPad mini from your blog. I gave it to my sister who is expecting in October so we could FaceTime from RI to FL and so her daughter in some time can learn from the apps like this
Looks like a great app! It amazes me how much kids learning while having fun.
This looks great! I wish it was available on Amazon…I’d download it for my son!
Looks very cute!
my grandsons could use this for helping with being patient.
