Cortana Is Everywhere – How Can She Help?

As a Microsoft Blogger I’ve received Windows 10 items and I love how helpful Cortana is. This summer Windows 10 came out and there are some excellent improvements in it as Windows figures out how incorporate a full touch screen and stay on the cutting edge as the way people use the technology in their lives continues to change.
One of the most improved features of Windows 10 (have you upgraded yet?) is the lovely lady . . . the voice . . . the all knowing being known as Cortana. There are tons of very functional, work and schedule oriented reasons to use the skills of Cortana, but there are also many uses for the holiday or some “off the clock” time.
There are lots of fun ways that Cortana can help you out, and I think it’s amazing how this feature has grown in leaps and bounds with what it can do.

Cortana Helps!

– Are you a movie fan? – Cortana can give you showtimes, show you trailers as well as info about each movie. This is perfect for when you are trying to decide which holiday blockbuster you want to go out and see.
– Leisure planner (business trip planner too!) – She can help plan your holiday (or work trip). Cortana will track hotel and car reservations, remind you of flight time changes and even provide you with recommendations for fun destination activities.
– Have a great memory – I love the people & location based reminders with Cortana. Need to tell something to someone next time you talk to them? She gives you a message when you text or call that person so you can have a great memory. Also, you can have her remind you to pick something up next time you are at the store, such as, remind me to pick up wrapping paper next time you are at Target.
– Help Cortana get to know you – You can make Cortana yours by inputting all your interests and favorite places into Cortana’s Notebook.
There are tons of fun ways to use Cortana, in addition to all the practical and handy work reasons too. The best thing about her is that she is everywhere. She can help you out while you are on your smartphone, desktop, or tablet. Where ever you are Windows 10 and Cortana are both there to make sure you are organized and having fun!
