This time of year here in Michigan fresh fruit is starting to be in season. The stores and farmer’s markets are filled with delicious grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and even peaches. I love eating them by themselves and also in recipes – especially as a dessert! That’s why I was excited when Dave brought home fresh peaches from the store recently. I decided to chop them and mix them into a cool creamy peach pie.
This dessert turned out much different than a typical peach pie. It’s creamy and cool, perfect at the end of a long hot day. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ll love it! It’s only takes a few minutes to prepare and then it chills in the fridge or freezer for a bit before serving.
I took it to our family picnic and it got lots of compliments. If you make it and is taking too long to set you can use a spoon or fork to mix it all together and turn it into a delicious crumble-like dessert. I loved this recipe and will be making it again with peaches but also can’t wait to try different fruit too!

- 3 cups chopped fresh peaches
- 1 8-inch graham cracker crust pie shell

- 8 oz Cool Whip
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a saucepan mix and melt the butter, marshmallows, and milk
- Add Cool Whip & peaches
- Pour into crust and put in freezer for an hour, store in fridge until ready to serve
This looks really good! This is a perfect dessert during the summer heat. It’s nice you don’t have to heat up your oven to have a delicious pie.
Peach is one of my favorite flavors. I would be tempted to try real whipped cream in it instead of the Cool Whip.
Ooh,That looks so wonderful. I am pregnant so this is almost like porn to me. LOL!!
This is truly dreamy – peaches in a cloud! I love the ripe peaches of summer – and what a nice way to have them, I’d love to make this!
Looks very yummy and easy to make!!! Great for fresh fruit.
This looks yummy, I can’t wait to try this.
I make a tasty peach cobbler pie, but this recipe is definitely one I need to try, thanks.
Looks yummy. Thank you for the recipe
Sounds so good – I can’t wait for our peaches to be ready to pick. Never would have thought of the marshmallows.
Oh yum! This pie looks like an easy cool treat for Summer. I will have to make it and have it for a Summer picnic. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits to use in desserts.
This sounds like it would be great for a hot Texas day!
I will be making this pie next weekend
This pie looks delicious! Love how easy it sounds to make :)
