We have all been at a get-together where someone was missing. Whether it’s your aunt missing a birthday party because they are under the weather, or maybe you are out of town for your son’s lacrosse game – we have all experienced one or both of these.
Taking a picture and forwarding it to the missing person is great, but doesn’t give you the feeling of being there.
That’s why we are excited to work with XFINITY to share with you this sponsored post and their innovative and cool solution. XFINITY is releasing a new feature for the X1 EOS (Entertainment Operating System) that will allow subscribers to live-stream video to your TV.
So, in the very near future, if you have XFINITY, you may not have to worry about missing that lacrosse game because you are stuck at work. With a partner on the other end recording with their smartphone, you can view a live streaming of that game right on your TV.
How cool is that? You get to see the streaming video on your TV, not your tablet, or phone, but on the big screen.
In addition to streaming it live, you are also able to store videos and pictures on the XFINITY X1 EOS on the cloud and access those pictures on the big screen or on your smartphone. When this new technology comes out you will have the option to share your life on the big screen and access everything via the cloud on your mobile device.
How will this new technology help you in your life? I can think of plenty of moments where as parents of 2 kids, we had to split up and one parent goes with one child and the other with the other for practice or birthday parties. I know you can always take smartphone video and share it and watch it on your phone, but it will make such a huge difference to be able to see it on the big screen TV, instead of on my 5” phone.
Or this cool example of having a chance to feed kangaroos, now you can capture this moment in the clouds and/or share it live with family back home.
What moments would you like to catch and share with a loved one? Let us know below and you will have a chance to win a $1,000 from XFINITY, just by letting us know how you would use this new technology.
I would love to capture my two grandsons playing little league. I would share with my 96 year old uncle who is no longer able to attend games.
