We have such a fun time cooking, admittedly, we are a work in progress in the kitchen, but we love to try (and we are getting MUCH better). Plus, it’s always so much fun to have Kora and Logan join in and help out with prepping and cooking, they think it’s so exciting and interesting.

The kids are able to really get involved and ‘into it’ when we are able to incorporate anything electronic with our cooking. One of the items that has helped make us a much better at cooking is the internet, specifically the apps that access all the help on-line and allow us to bring the technology into our kitchen with our phones and tablets.
That’s why I’m excited about the Butterball® Cookbook Plus app and how it can really help you out this Thanksgiving, and year round as well.
Butterball® Cookbook Plus is an app that is geared towards making your kitchen experience easier, sounds great to me! The Butterball® Cookbook Plus is FREE for a limited time, and it’s a must to check out.
Not only does this app provide you with hundreds of recipes to choose from, but it also provides you with options and substitutes.
For an upgrade, you are able to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for guests with dietary restrictions which include a ‘Gluten-Free Thanksgiving’ as one of the multiple additional recipe add-ons.
There are a couple of areas where the Butterball® Cookbook Plus app really stands out and is extremely useful.
My Recipe Box
Here’s where you are able to select your favorite recipes from within the app, and add your own as well, and keep them in one organized spot
Shopping List
This is my favorite, you are able select your recipe and add it to your shopping list. You then have the option to print or email this shopping list with all the necessary ingredients on it.
A nice collection of videos that walk you step by step through various tutorials.
Kitchen Tools
You are provided with access to multiple timers which can run at the same time, substitution lists, measurements and conversions as well.
Voice Commands
This one is popular with kids and the idea is fantastic. Once your hands are a little messy from cooking, you have the option to turn on voice commands and control what step in the cooking process you are viewing on your phone. You can say ‘next’ to see the next step in the process, and you can control your timers with your voice as well. – There is some room for improvement with the voice commands, but it is an awesome idea and does work after you get used to it.
Recipes
With clear directions and steps they are easy to read, follow, and sound delicious.
Have Questions?
This is another of my favorite options on this app, you are able to look up articles from experts and how to videos, perfect for the Thanksgiving host(ess) who has no idea how to thaw or carve a turkey!
The Butterball® Cookbook Plus App is a must for helping with Thanksgiving dinner planning and can be used for so much more, it is free for a limited time from the app store.
What about you? What is the first recipe you will try?
This is a cool app. My sister could have used this for her turkey on Thanksgiving. I am going to suggest this app to her. Thanks!

This is a reallly cool app. Love the voice commands. I am always looking for things to make my cooking better

Butterball does such a great job with their apps. I called them years ago and they were the nicest folks!
