As a tech blogger I’ve had a chance to try out a number of great devices over the past year and I enjoy using them regularly to see how they would fit into our daily lives. In doing so, I’m happy to say that there are many wonderful gadgets out there and while that’s a good thing, it can also be a bit overwhelming. I thought it would be helpful to put together a Holiday Tech Gift Guide to share with you gadgets that are great gift ideas to round out your holiday shopping and add to your own wish list.
Everyone wants the hottest smart phones out there, here are 3 great ones.
Droid Turbo by Motorola
The Turbo is fresh on market, but is getting rave reviews for the improvement upon the much loved Moto X. The Turbo has a nice curve shape and fits easily in your hand. In addition to great speed and battery life. The name Turbo is definitely earned, it has a a turbo processor and a turbo charge, giving you 8 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes on the charger.
Samsung Note
The Samsung Note is an amazing phone, the first thing you notice is it’s size, it is BIG, but in a good way. I would say this is the best phone that Samsung has ever made. The 5,7″ screen is extremely useful for surfing the web, watching videos, email and more. We loved our experience with the Note 3 and with the new release of the Note 4, this would make you the best Santa!
HTC One M8
This is the ultimate music lover’s phone. With dual front facing BoomSound speakers, the audio is quite impressive. Combine that with the excellent UFocus Camera App and you will have plenty of reasons to love this dynamo with a 5″ display in an aluminum body.
Wearable technology is huge and rapidly growing in popularity.
Samsung Galaxy Gear 2
The Gear 2 revolutionized the smart watch game. This is a great watch with tons of features. The Gear 2 teams up with your Samsung S Phone or your Samsung Note and gives you tons of options. You are able to take videos and pictures in between checking your texts and emails. On top of that, there are fitness trackers and options along with sleep monitor. This 2nd screen can increase your productivity and even act as a TV remote!
Jawbone Up
This activity tracker is much more than just a pedometer. Establish goals and work with friends to get the most out of the Jawbone Up. There are a couple of apps that work great with this smart activity tracker, and it even comes with a smart coach who will help get you moving and burning calories. This is a great option for the fitness pro or the beginner.
Technology on the go – Tablets
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet
This Galaxy Note Tablet is the best in the market in my opinion, and absolutely the best Droid tablet. With the ability to split your screen on this ridiculously brilliant display, you can easily multitask as you amp up your down time.
Must have accessory
Motorola Power Pack Slim
Anyone who has ever had their phone or tablet turn into an expensive paperweight when your battery dies will love and appreciate this. The Power Pack Slim is smaller than most phones and holds enough of a charge to fully charge up to 2 phones. With 2 models, there is one that is perfect for you – this is a MUST have, because no one wants their phone to turn into an expensive paperweight.

On my tech list is the new GoPro Camera, my husband want one for his outdoors activities and the features on it are really nice. I would love to have a new tablet.
So many great gift ideas here!
I always seem to go for the “big players”. I currently own a Samsung smartphone and I guess if I wanted a tablet I would also go for a Samsung or something similar. But it would be good if I can get to try some of the other brands too so I can have a better and wider opinion. Thanks for the article, it has been really useful!
I’d love the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet. I have been wanting a tablet for awhile now,
