In my perfect world, I would have a big house with lots of open wall space for my own little art gallery. When I was about 7 years old I declared to my family that I was going to be an artist when I grew up. In high school, I spent many hours in our school’s darkroom as part of my photography classes. I can wander around art museums for days and I took almost all of the art history classes my college had to offer.
Sadly, I have no artistic ability aside from some photography when I was younger so I had to give up the art career. Instead I’ve chosen to leave the creating to others much more talented that I and just to enjoy their visions.
Our house doesn’t have nearly enough art right now and thanks to Zatista I’m on my way to my private gallery.
The site only sells original work, with no reproductions at all. The site features categories for everyone’s taste and style – Painting, Photography, Drawing, Mixed Media, and Digital Art so it’s easy to find something you’ll love!
I was drawn to the black and white photography and Super Tired Dad Marc loved the oil paintings but finally after hours (literally!) of searching through all the artwork on the site we finally settled on Marconi Beach Cliff, a digitally enhanced photograph. Our family loves the beach and the little girl in the picture reminded me of one of our girls, getting ready to charge into the ocean.
The ordering process was easy – just like any other online shopping transaction. It arrived quickly and packed very securely in about 100 feet of bubble wrap inside a sturdy box. Their customer service team is excellent and even followed up to make sure that I loved the print, which I absolutely do!
Why I Love Zatista
- Original artwork so I won’t see “my” art as a poster in a big box store
- Thousands of items to choose from
- Works priced from $25 to $19,000 so there is something for everyone
- Fast, well packed shipping
- Art 101 guide to teach anyone about purchasing art
I still have some empty walls and think there are a few black and white photos calling my name from Zatista… and Mother’s Day is just around the corner!

Hey Tesa,
I’m an artist and have been on the Zatista site for a few months now, and have been curious about who if anyone is using it and purchasing art. It would be nice to know how much traffic they get, how many sales per week, etc. It was nice to come across your review. It sounds like
the site worked well for you!
