Last week I shared with you how we’ve been using the HP Envy 23 TouchSmart All-In-One PC for family fun. We like it so much that we are in the process of transferring everything of importance from our old PC to it, making it our primary computer. You’d think this would be an long and arduous process but thanks to Windows Easy Transfer we simply set it to run each night and every morning we are a much closer to having everything transferred.

Our goal is to retire our old desktop and to be using the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO full time by the end of the week. It’s such a fantastic PC, that I can’t wait to be using it all the time. Since I’m still using the old PC occasionally until the transfer is complete, I now have a good comparison of what the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO can do.

Here’s a list of some of the features that stand out:

• The 23-inch display is huge, crisp, and clear. It makes our photos look gorgeous and browsing the web or checking out Pinterest makes me happy because everything is so bright and easy to see.
• The touchscreen is very responsive and simple to use. Just by swiping left or right I can scroll through pictures or files, swiping from the top closes a document, and the onscreen keyboard is easy to use.
• Switching between the onscreen controls and the mouse and keyboard is a breeze. There’s nothing to it. If you want to use one or the other simply do so. There’s no steps to walk through or any extra buttons to push.
• It’s fast. With 3rd generation Intel processors I’m able to have many windows open and work on multiple things without experiencing a slow down.
• The easy set-up is unbelievable. There is only one cord. There’s no CPU tower. Everything is in the monitor. Plug in the single power cord, push “Power” and you are up and running.
• With only one cord and everything built in it’s both space saving and stylish.
