The title of this post says it all. UPS My Choice is a new service that allows residential customers to sign up for free and never miss another delivery.

I always worry about packages sitting outside my door in our sometimes harsh Cleveland elements. Our winters are cold and snowy, it never seems to stop raining in the fall and spring, and the summer can be a scorcher. This type of weather means sometimes fragile items can end up damaged or destroyed.

And don’t you hate it when you miss those important packages that must be signed for? Even if you miss the delivery by minutes, it’s already back on the truck and you have to carve out time in your busy schedule to stop down and pick it up.

But once you sign up for free as a UPS My Choice member, you can say good-bye to the worrying about packages sitting outside in the elements as well as to trying to find time to pick up that missed delivery.

As a UPS My Choice member you can:

• Receive phone, text, or email alerts letting you know a day ahead of time that a package is going to be delivered and the alert will provide a 4 hour delivery window
• Electronically sign for and release packages
• Re-route packages to another address or the nearest The UPS Store if you are not available to receive them (this service carries an additional $5 fee)

Aren’t all of those features incredible?! I can’t believe no one has thought of this until now it really makes UPS tracking a breeze. It’s a one-of-a-kind service that will certainly make my life less chaotic and will ease my mind, especially during the holiday shopping season!
