I always enjoy learning about updates and upgrades that hotels are making to keep up with today’s technology. That’s why I am proud to be a member of the Residence Inn by Marriott Resident Mom Club and to receive a gift card to share my honest opinions about their new program and app. It’s been a fun and informative partnership where I’ve had the chance to learn about the changes and transformations Marriott Hotels are making to make travel easier and more enjoyable for their guests.
Just recently Marriott released the Travel Brilliantly campaign that focuses on making checking in even easier. With the Marriott Mobile App all Marriott Rewards members will be able to:
Check-in after 4 pm the day before & up to 2 hours before your arrival
Check-in from anywhere
You’ll also receive a notification when your room is ready and can visit the Mobile Check-In Desk to pick up your pre-programmed key card when you arrive.
Future features of the app may include mobile checkout and guest services requests.
The Marriott Mobile App is currently available in 31 Marriott hotels and will soon expand to all 325 Marriott brand hotels. This will make the app the broadest mobile offering of its kind in the U.S. and Canada. You can learn more about the app on the Marriott Travel Brilliantly site.
The Marriott Mobile App is just one of the new innovations from Marriott Hotels. They have also rolled out a new brand look and logo that you can see here.I like that they kept the iconic M but modernized the logo as well. It’s eye-catching yet sleek.
Other features of the Travel Brilliantly campaign include:
• Lobby Greatrooms that merge modern, stylish design with comfort and offer easy access to food, beverage, and technology
• Workspring at Marriott which caters to smaller meetings
• Workspace on Demand makes it simple to book workspace as a hotel room
• The Red Coat Direct App enable meeting planners to adjust and edit meeting requests and preferences without leaving the meeting room

I was excited to see that Marriott is currently accepting ideas for future innovations from guests. Visitors to the Travel Brilliantly website can share their fresh travel ideas through the end of September. These ideas will be entered into a Co-Creation Contest where three judges will identify the top ideas that could change the future of travel. There will be 15 first prize winners and the judges will determine the creator of the best overall idea who will have the chance to travel with and design future innovations alongside Marriott experts.
