We’ve had a fun couple of months. As you know Dave and I are in the market for a new vehicle.
This post is sponsored by Toyota and Toyota Sienna provided for 3-month test drive.
That’s why we are excited about the Toyota Sienna. It has lots of wonderful features and we’ve enjoyed the time with it to determine if this 7-passenger minivan is a fit for us.We are a family who loves to be on the road, whether cruising around or road tripping. While out and about it’s nice to have entertainment options to make the drive more enjoyable. That’s why I’m excited to share some of our favorite entertainment features of the Toyota Sienna.
First up is Kora & Logan’s absolute favorite feature. The Dual View Entertainment Center TV.
Here they are explaining why they enjoy it so much:
It is nice to have them so happy and content while traveling. We are very lucky and they are great on long trips but the tv really makes it all more enjoyable for them.
Dave and I love that the kids can watch a movie or play a game and pop on the headphones and we can listen to the radio, SiriusXM, a CD, or use the Bluetooth to connect to playlists on our phone. The entertainment options really offer something for everyone.
I like how easy it is to switch between them as well. You can even set multiple lists of favorites. For example, there are 3 screens of SiriusXM favorites. This is wonderful because as you know there are hundreds of satellite radio stations and this makes it much easier to find the ones you like best.
You can also flip through the AM and FM options with the touch of a button.
I do have to be honest and wish that they would have put the tuning, seek, and track buttons closer to the driver and the volume dial closer to the passenger. I don’t use the tuning button often but when I do want to flip to a station that’s not in my favorites, it’s quite a stretch across the console. The same goes for the passenger who wants to turn the volume up, they have to reach way across to do so. These are small matters but would be nice if they were more conveniently located.
The CD changer is tucked away nicely and looks futuristic and fancy when you are changing a CD. It can hold up to 6 CDs and has MP3/WMA capability.
The Bluetooth option is fun and may be my favorite. I love being able to stream music from my compatible phone or device using the Bluetooth wireless technology. There is also a USB port so you can connect directly to play tunes or use it to charge your devices.
The JBL audio system offers 10 speakers including a subwoofer for crisp and clear sound.
The display is a touchscreen and when using the radio or Satellite options it tells you the name and artist of the song playing. It’s easy to flip through the stations and all of your options with the touch of the screen.
The steering wheel controls also make it all easy to manage without taking your hands off the wheels. You can change the volume, maneuver through stations, and change the mode (radio, SiriusXM, CD, etc) all with the push of a thumb or a finger.
We really enjoy all of the entertainment options in the Toyota Sienna and look forward to using it every day. These features have made our daily errands and family road trips even more fun.
What a nice ride! I love that it also tells you how many miles until empty. I have a tendency to push it to the last mile before hitting the gas station. I also like the display. It would be nice to have a car like this, where everything is at your finger tips and you have all the information on your display.
I would love to own this car. It has all the features I like and need and the video player is the bomb. I wish I could afford to buy a new car.
Very nice! Love the entertainment features and the size and style.
How nice! I like all the features of this vehicle!
That is such a beautiful car I cant believe the options that are in cars nowdays!
Wow the DVD screen in the van is such a nice size! This looks like a very comfortable ride.
sweet ride inside but still a minivan that a guy does not like to drive
This is toyota is a rolling entertainment center! Looks like the kids give it a thumbs up. LOL! Nice vehicle to say the least!
Your kids are SO cute! I love how Logan smiles the entire time he gives us his review of the Sienna entertainment feature. So cute and it looks like Kora is doing so much better since her surgery. Yey!
I can’t believe the screen drops down. Thought it would be installed in headrest, and a large screen too. I guess the tv comes in handy if traveling long distances, but I wonder if parents put a limit on tv use in car. If you are driving 20 minutes to the store with a toddler, I could see using a tv to keep them distracted…if need be. But for older children, like yours, there is something to be said for just observing your surroundings. Not if you are stuck in traffic, but just driving. I wonder how many parents allow there kids to always be consumed electronically? Conversation may only erupt when children begin to argue about the program they want to watch.
Great features otherwise and I love that song by Aviicii
We are looking for a new car too! I looked at a car yesterday and it was SO small. I asked the guy if a carseat would fit in there and he was like “oh sure, but we have a list of car seats we recommend” and I thought that if they had a list, it’s probably a small list! So we are looking else where.
Looks like it’s a really great van. It’s amazing how far vans have come in the last decade or so. They are SO nice now!
I really like that the kids can watch a very movie or play games with the headphones, while mom and dad listen to the radio. What a great feature! I’m loving the entertainment system – something we definitely need for our little guy. He gets very irritable in the car.
This is a really nice van! We’ve been shopping around for a van the past few weeks and we looked at the Sienna as well as the Honda Odyssey – just bought an Odyssey yesterday! This one is really nice too!
I love the interior! It looks very luxurious!
Coolest minivan on the block, everyone I know loves theirs!
This looks like such a great car! so many great features for people with a family!
If you had not said this was a minivan I would have had NO idea! Minvans might be getting cool LOL
