Top 10 Halloween Costumes for Preschoolers + CostumeSuperCenter.com Review

With Halloween right around the corner, Kora and Logan can hardly wait to dress-up and go trick-or-treating. Tired Dad Dave and I are thrilled that they both are excited because the last two years Logan hasn’t wanted anything to do with Halloween Costumes.

Two years ago we convinced him to be a football player by putting socks in the shoulders of a shirt and putting a little costume paint on his face for eye-black. Tired Dad Dave put a little gel in his hair to make him look sweaty too. Last year he didn’t even want to do that. The most we could get him to do was to wear an every day shirt and hat with basketballs on them and call him a basketball player – needless to say he got the raised eyebrow from a couple of neighbors.

This year, however, seems to be a different story. He’s been talking about Halloween for ages and is actually excited to put on a costume and go trick-or-treating. He is currently torn between being Spiderman, Superman, Batman, or a duck.

Kora’s been enamored with any and all fairy costumes and just recently, she narrowed it down and has decided to be Tinkerbell. She’s wearing this Light-Up Twinkler Fairy Costume from CostumeSuperCenter.com. It has fiber-optic lights in the skirt so it lights up in the dark. Every time she’s tried it on, she immediately tries to find a dark room so she can see it twinkle.

Since it’s all Halloween talk all the time here lately, I decided to ask the kids to list their top ten Halloween Costumes for preschoolers. Here’s what they came up with:

Kora & Logan’s Top 10 Halloween Costumes for Preschoolers (in no particular order – they were shouting things out so I just tried to keep up).

1. Batman

2. Tinkerbelle

3. Spiderman

4. All Princesses

5. Superman

6. Pink Barbie Cowgirl

7. Iron Man

8.  Pink Barbie Fairy

9. Lightening McQueen

10. Pink Butterfly

Notice any themes?

It should be a really fun Halloween this year and honestly, I’m not sure what I’m more excited about – seeing Logan dressed-up and having fun, seeing Kora’s light-up fairy costume, or knowing there will be a little extra chocolate lying around the house in a couple of weeks!

*Just a few words about ordering Kora’s costume from CostumeSuperCenter.com.

They were very fast. When I first placed my order they said 7-10 business days for delivery, but it came in half that time. Also, when Kora’s costume first arrived the fiber optic lights didn’t work. We tried and tried and just couldn’t get them to turn on. Honestly, she didn’t mind. She loved the costume so much she didn’t want us to send it back.

I did notify the company that the lights weren’t working and an incredibly nice customer service representative called us back and gave us some tips – but it still didn’t work. So she said she would ship a new one out right away and that I was to go to the site, put in my order number, print off a shipping label, and ship back the broken costume at no charge to us. Kora was sad to see it go, but when the new arrived 2-3 days later AND it twinkled – she was ecstatic. The costume is adorable, the customer service was wonderful, and the selection and price is right.

We give CostumeSuperCenter.com a big thumbs up!

  5. She looks SO cute, her smile tells it all!
I would be just like her, that would be a costume that I would pick out and I would run into a dark room to see it twinkle, then call my hubby in so he could see it. I’m just a big kid at heart especially when it comes to Halloween and Christmas.
    Have a great holiday!
