Fun Family Board Game: Synonyms – Review

Lindergaff, LLC Educational games sent us a new game called Synonyms to try. It sounded easy enough, but sure made our brains go to work! We played a fun game tonight with our older cousins since the game is recommended for ages 10 and up.

The object of Synonyms is to race around the board to be the first to collect all the letters in the word “Synonyms.” You roll the die and pick a card and then have one minute to earn a letter by naming the designated number of synonyms – unless a competitor declares a challenge.

We all had a great time playing!

What We Love About Synonyms:

  • It’s a family game that encouraged us to turn off the electronics and share quality time together
  • It makes us think!
  • It’s silly and makes us laugh
  • It improves our vocabulary
  • The cards are sturdy and glossy and wouldn’t rip/tear with frequent play (there are 400 cards with over 10,000 words!)
  • The concept is fun and easy and there aren’t too many rules
  • This would be great for a classroom!

Synonyms is a fun game for children and adults. It’s a great way for those 10 and up to develop their vocabulary by having fun. Synonyms can be found on Amazon.com.

The product was provided for review. No compensation was received. The honest opinions are my own and that of my family.
