Stinky Boyz Kids Soap – Review

Now that Grant is almost 8, we are trying to encourage him to bathe himself and teaching him about how important it is to be and stay cleaned and well groomed. Anyone having or being near children can appreciate how dirty and sticky they can get within minutes! This becomes an argument at our house at least once a week when we have to re-iterate the importance of grooming…cleaning your ears, trimming your nails, or encouraging frequent hand washing….so I was pleased when Stinky Boyz wanted us to try their products.

Stinky Boyz  is a new line of soap and hygiene products made for, well, your Stinky Boy! And they work surprisingly well… they made my boy clean and fresh!

The soap came shaped as a sports ball.

You can choose baseball, soccer, football, or basketball.

Stinky Boyz Kids Soap Review

It had a silicone bracelet thoughtfully made into the soap that could be usefully used to grab onto the slippery soap while showering or bathing and can later be used as a cool accessory. Grant thought this was both a silly and genius idea!

I was glad that he jumped right into the shower to try the soap out. He said that the bracelet strap was easy to hang onto and that he liked that he could hang the soap up to dry where his little brother and sister could not reach it afterward.

When I asked him if it smelled clean, he answered that the soap smelled “Kind of like mulch” so I had to take a sniff myself. StinkyBoyz smelled clean and fresh with a light woodsy smell, so I can appreciate how an eight year old boy might resemble the smell to mulch!

Here’s what Grant had to say about Stinky Boyz:

I liked that this product had our son excited about bathing and showering, had a strap for easy holding which was reusable and later became a bracelet, smelled clean, and was reasonably priced.

Our younger son, Carter, who is nearly two, is too young for this soap, but liked that Stinky Boyz sent a foam ball that he played with while Grant showered!

Our daughter Avery was a bit jealous and said she wishes Stinky Boyz made a girls line of soap too!

Stinky Boyz retails for just under $10 and should be available in retail stores like Target and even sporting goods stores, including Sports Authority and Dicks.

The product was provided for review. No compensation was received. The opinions are my own and that of my family.

Great review and clip on Stinky Boyz! Glad to see your son loves the product and let your daughter know that she can use it too until the Stinky-Girlz line launches in 2012!
    Thanks

Very cute idea!! I like that they added a bracelet so it is easier to hold on to.
