The holidays are just around the corner and it’s always such a wonderful time of the year. It’s a time where you get to spend time with family and friends, bake delicious sweets and treats that you only get to enjoy once a year, and shop for the perfect gift to let that special someone know how much they mean to you.
There’s always so much to do and so much to enjoy that it’s important to stay healthy around the holidays. This time of year also brings round the added stress of the never ending to do list, less sleep trying to get it all done, and the added bonus of being out and about shopping and running other holiday errands exposing you to more germs than usual.
Due to all this if I do find myself coughing and with a sore throat, I am going to keep Ricola Dual Action Cough Drops on hand.
They also combine a unique blend of 10 natural Swiss alpine herbs, natural menthol, and have a soothing syrup center for relief that works quickly.
- Getting Enough Sleep – this can be a tough one where there is so much to do, but it’s one thing I’ve found that really helps me fight off colds that others seem to get, or if I have a cold I tend to get over it faster if I get more sleep
- Eating Healthy – with all the indulgences during the holidays (cookies, chocolate, fudge, cakes, pies, and more) it can be easy to not make nutritionally healthy choices, I always try to eat a balanced diet so I can stay feeling my best no matter what time of year it is
- Exercise – I admit that I need to work on this one, however it is on my list because I do know how important it is and how much it will help keep your immune system strong
These are all important tips and will help give your immune system that extra boost through the holiday season. I’ll be counting on them in the coming weeks and if a cough and sore throat pop up I’ll be carrying Ricola Dual Action Cough Drops around in my purse to soothe it and provide relief.
