I love St. Patrick’s Day recipes. Corned Beef and Cabbage is a must for us and after a hearty meal like that there’s nothing like a sweet dessert to wash it down. So I’m always on the lookout for great St. Patrick’s Day dessert recipes and this year I came across one from Kraft Foods that’s so fun, easy, and delicious, I just had to share.
20 minutes prep plus refrigeration – 40 servings
6 oz Philadephia Cream Cheese – softened
1 package of Double Stuf Oreo Cool Mint Cream Cookies – finely crushed
2 packages of Baker’s White Chocolate – melted
6 drops of green food coloring
2 Tbsp. green colored sugar
Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended. Shape the mixture into 40 balls about 1 inch around. Mix melted chocolate and food coloring until blended. Dip the balls into the chocolate, using two forks to roll the balls in the chocolate until coated evenly. Remove the balls with the forks and place a single layer into a shallow pan lined with wax paper. Sprinkle sugar on top.
Refrigerate 1 hour until firm and store in a tightly covered container in the the refrigerator.
Eat and enjoy! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
