Spongeables are advertised as a 4-in-1 product that cleanses, exfoliates, massages, and moisturizes. The actual product is a body wash in a more solid form which is dried into a firm and fun sponge. We recently tried 4 of the Spongeables products – two Pedi-Scrub Foot Buffers and two Spongeables Body Wash Products.
Avery immediately went to the pink colored Spongeable and was excited to hop into the tub!
The pink sponge was a rectangular shape with groves for your grip.
It softened and lathered up into nice bubbles when wet.
Avery was glad to scrub away and the pink grapefruit smell was refreshing! She has sensitive skin and I am glad that the formula was gentle!
The box says that Spongeables contain shea butter and vitamin E to soothe and soften skin. I used a yellow duck shaped Spongeable on Carter and he played with it in the tub for a while happily while splashing around!
I noticed that it was easy to grab and not too slippery – so it actually made bath time faster for me (I took less time searching for and grabbing onto slippery bar soap!). The regular Spongeables Body Wash Sponges lasted for 8-10 bath times and then you have a cute sponge left!
The Foot Buffers were shaped somewhat like a starfish or a sun design. They had two sides, one felt like a firm loofah and the other was softer and less abrasive and had the soapy like product. The box advertised, “The softest, sexiest, happiest feet ever!” and said that the sponge would last for approximately 20 washes or more.
After using them, the Foot Buffers were a good tool to exfoliate and soften my feet and it did smell good…. probably because they contain eucalyptus extract with lavender aromatherapy!! I don’t think my feet are ’sexy’ so we will skip the pictures! I did like it but I would still prefer to go have a pedicure at a salon but if I have to do it myself at home, then I am glad to have tried the Pedi-Scrubs!
Spongeables were a fun product to try and I think they would be a great everyday product, but might also be a fun inclusion in a baby shower gift of bath products or to pop into an Easter basket or Christmas stocking!
The products were provided for review. No compensation was received. The honest opinions are my own.

I like the Duck one. It would be cute to put in a kids Easter Basket. Then when they are done using it for the several baths it is good for, you could use it as a paint stamp for the kids to do crafts with. I mean lay one side of it in some thick tempra or thick water-color paint base and stamp it on cardboard boxes to store their seasonal clothes in or use clothes paint to lay one side down in to stamp canvas tote bags for library bags. Of course you could scent the sponge up with some perfume or essential oils, let dry and then run a string through it and hang it in the closet or lay in a drawer to freshen up clothes.
