Snugli Review

Before baby Grayson arrived, I had no idea how hard it was going to be to function as a mommy of two other children and make sure I am attending to all of the needs of a newborn.   The week I brought Grayson home from the hospital, all I did was hold him.  I am not sure if I even put him down so I could sleep.   He is a very good baby, but he makes noises all day and night.  It might just be me being a nervous new mommy, but I jump and pick him up for every noise he makes even if he isn’t crying.   Well needless to say, it has been hard to do my normal daily tasks with holding a newborn baby for the past three weeks.

I am so happy that Grayson finally weighs enough to be worn in our new Snugli.

Snugli Review

He loves that he is being held close to mommy and daddy, yet we still have our hands free to fold laundry, put a pony tail in the girls’ hair, or make a sandwich for the girls’ lunch.

The entire family, Tired Dad Paul, our girls and myself just love the new fabric choices for the Snugli.   The Mini Skull pattern is very “rock”.

I love that as Grayson grows we have the choice to wear him facing out so he can view the world or facing us so he can snuggle down for a snooze.  One of the greatest features of the Sungli is that it has the comfort-vent that allows for Grayson to stay cool when being worn so close to us.

The Snugli is super easy to wear.  There is a one-handed buckle that makes it easy to put on and take off with baby in hand.   The shoulder straps are really comfortable with their padding.  I love the adjustable pull straps that allow the user to tighten the Sungli after the baby is positioned to keep baby close and “snug.”  The newer material of the Snugli is easy to keep clean.  I love all the improvements that Snugli has made over the years.

The product was provided for review. No compensation was received. The honest opinions are my own and that of my family.

My daughter has one of these and we use it ALL THE TIME! Her daughter is now 9 months old and still loves to be in it. Whenever she is fussy, just put her in there, and she calms right down. Love that thing!

  2. We used a Snugli for our son when he was a baby. It was also great to use when we flew from TN to CA in the airports. We had a transfer, and we only lost one sock. But it was great to put him in it even on the flight because he would go to sleep. My daughter though, she liked me using a sling better. She wasn’t too fond of the Snugli.

  3. I also love that the Snugli enables your baby to be close to Mom and Dad’s heartbeat and body warmth. So wonderful during those first few precious (and exhausting!) months! :)

Thanks for this review. My sister is due later this year with their first baby and it’s been so long since I had my youngest that I’m out of touch with baby products. This looks like a great item for a baby shower gift. Your baby looks so tiny in it!

I like how the pattern is skull and cross bones. Cute pattern. These are a great invention. A really good gift for a new mom. You are giving me so many ideas. Thank you for the review.
