Simply Suzanne Granola Review

One of my favorite meals is vanilla yogurt, granola and fruit.

GranolaSimply Suzanne Granola received.

I have tried many combinations, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries and many different types of granola.

I was excited about Simply Suzanne Granola, and even more excited to learn that it is manufactured in Detroit, Michigan. We try to support Detroit whenever possible

We tried Lotsa Chocolate, So Very Cherry and Original. Unlike a great many other granolas that are simply sweet, Simply Suzanne’s Granola is both sweet and savory.  The savory comes from a hint of pepper that she puts in each batch. It adds a subtle punch to tickle your taste buds.

Simply Suzanne GranolaI decided to  use the Lotsa Chocolate Granola to make the chocolate cookie recipe that appears on their website. It was rich and flavorful. If you like chocolate cookies , you will love these.

Chocolate Cherry CookiesThen I used the So Very Cherry Granola to make banana granola muffins. They were very tasty.  I was worried that adding the granola to these recipes would create a dry finished product, but it did not. All it did was to add a little extra crunch. The other thing I like was I was taking a not so good for you chocolate cookie and by adding the granola I was adding protein and fiber.

Muffins

Banana MuffinsThe Lotsa Chocolate is made with semi-sweet chocolate and is good in either the cookies, on yogurt or simply eating out of your hand. The So Very Cherry is made with with Michigan cherries and is 100 percent vegan friendly. The Original is made with pure maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon and peanuts.

I was concerned that with the pepper, our granddaughters would think it was too spicy, but they loved it. Never mentioned the pepper or thought it had a bite. They could not stop eating it and I had to put it away so I would have enough for the cookies and muffins.

Simply Suzanne Granola is definitely a product I will use again and again in many different recipes.

I love granola. Most of the time it’s either to sweet or to bland. this sound great. Thanks for the review.

Love that this granola is both savory and sweet. I need to start using granola in more baking products.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
