There are just some days here in our house when we are all too wired and too tired to cook dinner. Thankfully Kora & Logan, Tired Dad Dave, and I all love going out to eat.

One of our favorite family friendly restaurants is Red Robin. It’s a fun atmosphere with great food. In fact, it was so hot here last night no one felt like cooking so we headed to Red Robin for dinner.

I had their Cobb Salad for the first time. It was so good! I’ll definitely be getting it again. Kora & Logan stuck to their favorite – the Cheesy Mac & Cheesy with Mandarin Oranges and Tired Dad Dave got the Chili Chili Burger. Everyone was very happy with their meals.

We also decided to try the Freckled Lemonade. It’s made with Minute Maid Lemonade and strawberries. It’s so simple, summery, and delicious.

If glanced at the above pictures and you’re wondering why there are Etch A Sketches on all of the Red Robin coasters, it’s because this year is the 50th anniversary of Etch A Sketch. To celebrate the time-honored toy, Red Robin is holding a contest called “Etch A Sketch A Burger.”

The contest challenges you to draw your favorite Red Robin burger on an Etch A Sketch and submit a photo of your masterpiece by July 25th. There are five age categories from 5-years-old on up. 50 artists (10 from each category) will win a 50th Anniversary Etch A Sketch and a $50 Red Robin gift card!

What a fun contest! Kora & Logan are a bit too young to enter, but they do enjoy playing with their Etch A Sketch.
