Red Lobster’s New Look

If you haven’t been to Red Lobster lately you may be surprised by their new look. Many of their restaurants have been redesigned inspired by the New England coast. Which is fitting for the seafood specialty restaurant.

We recently had a chance to visit one of the remodeled Red Lobster restaurants in our area and were impressed by the new decor and seaside features.

Red Lobster Restaurant We liked the new outdoor architectural touches including the ship lanterns. And the Adirondack chairs looked like a comfortable, cozy place to relax while waiting for a table on a busy night.

Red Lobster ReviewsThe interior of the restaurant was very serene and peaceful. It really gave the feel of dining seaside. So much so that throughout our dinner I continually expected to hear the call of seagulls and waves crashing!

Red Lobster ReviewOur table had a lovely black & white photo of boats and lobster traps. It fit the decor perfectly.

Red Lobster RemodelWhen it came time to eat, we were all very excited for Red Lobster’s famous rolls. To be honest, I could come to Red Lobster and just eat a basket of rolls. They are so buttery, flavorful, and addictive that I can never eat just one.

Red Lobster RollsWe all enjoyed the rolls so much our waiter kindly brought over a second basket!

For our meal, I ate the Shrimp Bruschetta, which was amazing. Dave enjoyed the Parmasean Crusted Tilapia which he raved about. Dave’s mom got the Shrimp Trio and loved it. Kora and Logan ordered their favorite, Macaroni & Cheese and orange slices from the Kids’ Menu. We all thought our meals were wonderful and were happy that sizes were large enough to take home leftovers to enjoy the next day.

We were excited to go out to Red Lobster on this evening because it was a certain someone’s 5th birthday:

We ordered Logan the Chocolate Wave Cake to share. He smiled all the way through our rendition of “Happy Birthday” and then blew out his candle.

We all agreed that the Chocolate Wave Cake was wonderful. It is the perfect dessert for the chocolate-lover and we loved that it was warm and gooey alongside the vanilla ice cream.

Because one dessert is never enough, we also ordered the Warm Chocolate Chip Lava Cake.

Chocolate Chip DessertThis cake was a big hit! It was like a giant chocolate chip cookie cupcake! The ice cream melted slowly into the cake and it was the perfect ending to a delicious meal.

We had a great time at Red Lobster and enjoyed checking out the restaurant redesign. We loved what they’ve done with the restaurant and the food was so delicious, we are counting down the days until we can go back! In fact, as we left Logan said, “Mommy, do you know what my new favorite restaurant is? Red Lobster!” So we’ll definitely be back again soon.

Gift cards were provided. No compensation was received. The honest opinions are my own and those of my family.

We haven’t been to Red Lobster for a long time – we keep meaning to go there but eat out very little, and we always end up going to the same places instead of trying something new. My sister worked at Red Lobster for many years when she was in high school and administrative school, my parents took us out there every Sunday for lunch so she’d have to serve us, LOL!
