Thank you to Hulu for sponsoring this post. The honest opinions are my own.
Having an 11-year-old daughter, I’m always on the look out for positive inspiration for her. It’s important to me that Kora see people that doing great things and working to make a difference in the world. I want her to grow up knowing she can do anything and that she builds her self-confidence along the way. She already is a confident and amazing kid and always excited about everything and I want her to keep that spirit to truly enjoy life.
That’s why I’m excited that Hulu is celebrating the launch The Powerpuff Girls by highlighting amazing girls across the country!
These #RealLifePowerpuff girls are doing incredible things and inspiring others while they do so whether they are working in the fields of science or sports or doing great things with their families and communities. Do you know an awesome, inspiring young girl in your life?
Share your #RealLifePowerpuff girl by posting a photo or video of them on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter and tag it with #RealLifePowerpuff and #Contest. Be sure to include what makes her awesome and the photo or video might get shared and enter you to win a special Powerpuff Girl prize!
Visit the official website for more information.
I’m excited to see all the inspiring photos and videos in this hashtag. I would love to share Kora’s story too. She loves making others laugh and brightening their day, she is always willing to try new things even if they make her nervous. This has led her to landing her own radio show on the high school radio station as a 5th grader! She works hard on it, does a wonderful job with it and has received many compliments and lots of praise from those in the studio, on the production team, and listeners. She inspires me every day to find joy in the little things, to just be happy doing what you are doing, and to be daring and take on new challenges.
The #RealLifePowerpuff contest will run until the end of the month so be sure to submit a photo or video!
The Powerpuff Girls centers on three sugar-coated superheroes, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, whose missions in life alternate between going to school, fighting crime, winning at hopscotch and saving the world before bedtime. The girls are frequently called upon by the town’s mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers. While their differences cause them to squabble and tease, their individual strengths combined always lead them to victory. They rely on teamwork, trust, and friendship to thwart evil (in the most adorable way).
