Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D Review & Giveaway $199 Value! – CLOSED

Sometimes Christmas comes a little bit early!  The other day I came home to find a new Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D electric razor waiting for me.

Not only was I surprised but I was very happy to hear that I could test it out right away and I didn’t have to wait for it while it say under the tree!

The first thing I noticed about the razor was the skinny neck and the way the 3 separate blades moved around. Tésa said she should have videotaped my playing with the blades and moving them around when I first opened it. I was so fascinated that it could have been my entire review of the SensoTouch 3D.

It is very impressive how the 3 separate heads move  and how far apart they are able to go.

Also the entire ‘head’ of the razor, combined with the individual razors, give a total range of motion that is helpful for all of the contour changes on your face.

Even before using the razor, the other thing that stood out to me is how simply the blade heads flip open for cleaning. You can open up the blades and rinse in water, so getting the razor wet is not a concern. In fact, you can even take it in the shower with you because the SensoTouch 3D is waterproof!

Now comes testing time. . .   I have used an electric razor before, but for one reason or another I have always gone back to a conventional razor blade, mainly because they would lose their charge or just not work as well anymore.

With the Philipa Norelco SensoTouch 3D, there is a little bit of a getting used to period, it feels different and your skin needs about a week or so to get used to it.  That week wasn’t bad by any means and now I love it and wouldn’t go back to a conventional razor blade!

Using the SensoTouch 3D is much faster than using a regular razor and does a great job.  The SensoTouch 3D can conform to all your facial features with the flexibility of the blades, but what it does when it gets there is even more impressive.

Norelco has come up with a blade that has specialized tracks and slots for different types of hair, ie. Short (stubble), long, and even flat laying hair.  This razor has multiple ways to attack every type of five o’clock shadow you can throw at it.

The SensoTouch 3D also has the option to include the Jet Clean Plus cleaning system.  This cleaning system includes a special lubricating liquid that can be used to clean and lubricate the razor blades to keep the SensoTouch 3D in top shape as it keeps your face and skin in top shape.

The cleaner works quickly and also charges your razor while it is being used.  There are multiple settings for the Jet Clean Plus, such as normal, eco (uses less energy), or intensive (extra thorough).  It is very easy to use and even charges your razor while it is in the cleaning dock.

For those wives doing last minute shopping for their husbands, the Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D is a perfect gift idea.  It is important to go with a proven electric razor, even though they may be a little pricier, because you will get years of use out of it if you go with a Norelco SensoTouch 3D.
