When I was pregnant with my youngest, Emma, I bought the cutest, tiniest little pair of brown flowered shoes right after I found out she was a little girl. She was a peanut and I tried those shoes on her every week for months until finally her teeny tiny feet were big enough to wear them. I adore baby shoes. I have an entire giant tote in my attic full to the brim with baby shoes from my oldest, and the majority of them are from before she turned 2-years-old. I just can’t help buying such small adorable shoes!
My oldest, Mackenzie, started walking when she was 10 months old and it was summer time so she spent most of her days barefoot. Emma, now almost 11 months old, has figured out she can crawl much much faster than she could walk right now. However, one of her favorite activities is pulling off her socks and hiding them around the house. Cleveland winters are rather chilly and the only way she can’t get her socks off is if she has on shoes.
pediped shoes are known as the children’s shoes that are the “next best thing to bare feet.” pediped was one of the first children’s shoe companies the American Podiatric Medical Association awarded their Seal of Acceptance for promoting healthy foot development.
The Originals line for pre-walkers is designed to most closely mimic barefoot walking and the natural foot shape of a child. The Grip n Go line is perfect to help toddlers transition from early walking, to walking with a more confident stride. The Flex line combines everything the company owner wanted for her daughters when looking for a rubber soled shoe; high quality, fine leather and a soft flexible rubber sole.
Emma received the Caroline shoe from the Originals line to try out.
The brown suede shoes are so ridiculously cute!
The Velcro closure was too strong for Emma to undo, making me a happy Mama! The shoes are holding up really well too with her crawling over carpet and hardwood floors everyday, no scuffing of the suede or snagging of the pink embroidered flowers.
One of the things I really like about the pediped brand is that they have a line of shoes called Purchases with Purpose. Half of the purchase prices of these shoes and boots will benefit the pediped foundation ™ which will distribute the money to children’s charities.
Emma looks forward to having many more pairs of pediped shoes in her closet while I look forward to knowing her feet are healthy AND adorable!
