Kora loves art. She can spend hours drawing, painting, and coloring. A couple of weeks back, I was so excited when I heard of a local program offering children’s art classes at a discounted price.I signed her up for it and she seems to really enjoy it.
It’s a very basic preschool class and while she likes it, she always asks to draw more complicated pictures. So she practices at home. It’s so cute!
Here’s a collection of her latest drawings:
Kora’s Sports Series
Logan golfing (see the action lines for his swing?), Kora playing basketball, Kora & Logan playing volleyball.
Kora playing soccer and Logan doing a cartwheel.
Kora’s Nature Installment
Summer bugs, a cactus, a boat, and an ant hill.
The Angry Birds
Yes, so she’s played Angry Birds a few times and is just the slightest bit addicted like the rest of the world. She worked hard on these drawings and is so proud of them I had to include them!
What about your children? Do they like to draw as well?Have they taken an art class, what did you & they think?

I have boxes upon boxes of Amara’s artwork. I can’t bear to part with them. I think their creativity is such a part of who they are. And one day we’ll look back and see how wonderfully their personalities came out in each of their drawings. Tell Kora she did a fantastic job!
LOVE the Angry Birds ones. My kids play Angry Birds too and they love it.
Hannah is the same way – I love all the detail in her drawings! The Angry Bird ones rock! :)
oh my goodness – how cute is she?! i love those community classes for kids – such a great way to spend my money…seriously! they make friends AND learn something…its great!!
