This time of year the snow is blowing, the wind is cold, and the icicles are hanging down so far from our roof we can barely see out our window. The frozen Cleveland winters do nothing for my skin. With our furnace constantly running to keep us warm, it makes the air so dry that my skin is not usually very happy between the months of December through March.
This is never good news because with Valentine’s Day in February everyone wants their skin to be touchably soft. It’s a romantic time of year and perfect for hand holding. But usually my hands are so dry that holding hands is more bothersome to my skin than pleasant. I’m happy to say however, that this year was different.
Thanks to the NIVEA Share The Sensation Challenge, I tried NIVEA Smooth Sensation Body Lotion for seven days and what a difference!

The lotion is nourishing and moisturizing. I love that it absorbs quickly too. I’ve used other lotions in the past that are thick and take awhile to absorb which is troublesome for a mom with two kids who are always on the go. It was always frustrating to use an expensive lotion and find more of it ending up on my clothes rather than on my skin. Thankfully the NIVEA Smooth Sensation lotion uses a fast absorbing formula and my skin is all the more happier for it.
I also like that this lotion offers non-stop moisture that lasts more than 24 hours. I don’t have to apply it every hour. Instead, I use it once and it lasts most of the day. This is wonderfully convenient and a money saver since I don’t have to keep reapplying it constantly.
On top of all this, the lotion is light, non-greasy and smells great too. I love that they really thought of everything when creating the NIVEA Smooth Sensation Body Lotion. It’s now one of my favorites and a lotion we will be purchasing often in the future. I’ve been happy with the results of it on my skin and look forward to trying it on Logan’s as well. He has a bit of eczema and I think this lotion will really help.
