Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 8th and I can’t wait! Kora and Logan have been working on Mother’s Day projects at school and have been making me random cards throughout the week for “Valentine’s Day” – they get a little mixed up but it’s still so cute! I’m excited to see what they’ve been working so hard on and to spend the day with them.
One of my favorite parts of Mother’s Day is the delicious food! I’ve been scouring the web for incredible recipes that I think the whole family would enjoy and if Tired Dad Dave, Kora & Logan felt like making one or some of my favorites found below, I certainly wouldn’t object!
Bagel Family Portrait
How cute is this idea from Disney FamilyFun? Not only is it too cute, but for a carb-addict like me it would be delicious too!

Raspberry Cinnamon French Toast
I’m not a fan of raspberries, but this recipe looks amazing! The combination of fruit and nuts on top of the french toast really adds a special fine dining touch to a simple dish.

Fruit Filled Crepes
Crepes are amazing. They are always so light and airy I feel as if I could eat ten of them and then when they are served with fruit it makes me feel like I’ve made a somewhat healthy breakfast choice. This dish from Eating Well does offer a nutritious but delicious spin on traditional crepes.

Venetian Rolled Pizza
This Venetian Rolled Pizza from the Food Network is simple enough for the kids to help make and divine enough to be presented at a formal brunch.
