Mad Pax Backpack

Backpack with SpikesIf you have school aged children, and even if your little ones are not quite school aged, one thing you should know is that backpacks get worn and break easily. For the first few semesters of pre-k or kindergarten where your little one is toting glued projects and snacks with the occasional change of clothes, a cheap character backpack may get you by for a short period. Then the kids get tired of the character and the backpack gets dragged in the mud and a strap breaks and it is time to buy a new one.

For those of you with a second grader or older, these kids are lugging books and assignments and are usually more careful and particular about their belongings and the trendy styles around them. My son, Grant, has already gone through three cheap backpacks and we were ready to commit to a high-quality more expensive backpack for his needs when BabyBox.com sent us a Mad Pax Backpack try out!

Grant was thrilled with the design; crude spikes sticking out of his back made him look tough and cool.

He said, “This is awesome. It looks kind of like a Super Mario Bowser or Sonic the Hedgehog”.

I was thrilled with the quality. This backpack means business! It is a high-grade, quality leather that is sewn well. The shoulder straps are not only adjustable with several clips for Grant to clip on his favorite things, but it also has an additional strap to clip around his waist horizontally. The zipper is a wonderful in that it does not snag or catch in the wrong spots. The inside is large and roomy enough for all his homework and lunchbox.

The backpacks come in fun favorite colors, including: Got Your Black, My Spicy Mustard, Moss, Aquanaut, Bomber Brown, Orange Peel, Pink-A-Dot, Dinosaur Lime, or Purple-People Eater.

While Grant appreciates the punk funky design style of the backpack, I appreciate the quality of the materials and crafting of the overall product. The best news is we both like it, and the Mad Pax Backpack is a winner at my house!

Thank you to BabyBox.com for providing the backpack for review. No compensation was received. The opinions are my own and that of my family.
