The holidays are a crazy time of year and with everyone rushing around trying to get things done, there’s a good chance that Krazy Glue will be needed at some point. Our Krazy Life Story
When Kora was a baby and Logan was first born, the holiday season was Krazy for us. With Kora’s birthday in December and Logan’s birthday in January we were celebrating something nearly every week for 2 months straight. We had:
- Thanksgiving in Michigan
- Thanksgiving in Ohio
- Kora’s Birthday in Michigan
- Kora’s Birthday in Ohio
- Christmas in Michigan
- 3 Christmases in Ohio
- Logan’s Birthday in Michigan
- Logan’s Birthday in Ohio
By the time, February 1st rolled around we were so exhausted, burnt out, and Krazy that we decided we had to come up with another plan. We now combine the kids birthdays into one party in each state. For example, we’ll have a party in December in Michigan and another party in January in Ohio and then the next year we flip them. It works out sooo much better and saves us a lot of Kraziness. We wonder how many more years the kids will enjoy sharing their parties, but it’s working for now and we’ll keep it that way until we need to adapt again.
