Kellogg’s FiberPlus Review and Giveaway 10 Winners: CLOSED

As a on-the-go working Mommy that also travels a lot for work, I depend on easy to transport, one-handed, filling snacks to have in my bag. I never know when I’m going to end up stuck at an airport, in an office with no restaurants around or with a hungry 4-year-old while running errands. Granola bars are one of my staples and I always have a supply on hand. I prefer the bars that are more substantial than the average granola bar.

Sometimes, granola bars end up as a meal and I find the “heftier” bars fill me up and keep my stomach full longer. Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars are some of my favorites.

They contain 35% of your daily fiber, 7 grams of whole grains, plus antioxidants vitamin E and zinc, these bars are a nutritious—and delicious—high-fiber treat, which is important to me, especially when I’m traveling and don’t always have the most nutritious food available.

Currently, Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars come in three flavors – Chocolate Chip, Dark Chocolate Almond and Chocolatey Peanut Butter. I recently learned that they are introducing a new flavor – Caramel Coconut Fudge which sounded simply divine.

I had a chance to try the Caramel Coconut Fudge bars and was impressed that don’t taste like a granola bar at all. In fact, they taste exactly like my all time favorite Girl Scout cookie, the Samoa!

The bars were soft but not too soft, with just the right amount of sweetness without being too sweet or artificial tasting. These bars didn’t last very long at all in my house they are that yummy. My 4-year-old said that tasted like dessert and she was upset when I told her Mommy had eaten the rest of the bars!

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Kellogg’s FiberPlus Caramel Coconut Fudge bars in my local grocery store and will be stocking up on many boxes, although I may have to have my husband hide some from me so I don’t eat them all up right away!
