Last weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to take a road/boat trip to the Lake Erie Islands. The first day we vacationed on Put-in-Bay. The morning of Day 2, we woke up early (since our 2 preschoolers think 7 am is sleeping in!), packed up our things, and stopped at Put-in-Bay’s beautiful playground before our trip to Kelleys Island.

Another must see on Put In Bay is the Butterfly House. Both children and adults love it. You are actually in a room with hundreds of beautiful butterflies that will even land on various parts of your body — this is good luck if they do!
We did get a chance to go to The Butterfly House and loved it! Kora & Logan were in awe at the amount of butterflies and all four of us must have good luck coming our way soon because we each had a butterfly land on us! So fun!
That was non-stop fun! The pool was really nice!

I grew up in Toledo and always wanted to visit the islands, but never did. It was great to see it through your family’s eyes!
Love this post! I have been to Kelley’s Island a few times and love it dearly! I haven’t been there for some time, and it seems as though there are some new things happening! =)
