This past weekend we were all under the weather so the kids and I cuddled under a big fluffy comforter and watched a Madagascar movie marathon. They love Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria and all of the other Madagascar characters including the penguins and King Julian. That’s why when I heard that Jumpstart.com recently added the Madagascar characters and New York City to the children’s online virtual world game I knew Kora & Logan would be so excited.
JumpStart.com recently expanded the Central Park Zoo area to include more than just the zoo. As you can see in the video above they have added New York City, Times Square, Central Park, and Coney Island.
JumpStart has so much to explore and these new areas and lands making the game even more fun. I love the creativity of the worlds, lands, and minigames and I think it’s wonderful that it has always offered educational opportunities too. The kids have so much fun playing they don’t even realize they are learning too.
Another fun feature of JumpStart that we all love and keeps us coming back for more is the seasonal elements. For example right now because we are at the beginning of February there are Valentine’s conversation hearts the kids can pick up as they explore. There’s also a Main Street Box of Chocolate Maze and DownTown’s Heart Lane Ride.
- StoryLand – for 3-5 year olds
- AdventureLand & MarineLand – for kindergarteners through 2nd graders
- FutureLand & Uncle Milton’s ScienceLand – for 2nd graders on up
