Christmas is coming early to Cleveland! The I-X Center is celebrating with the 26th annual Christmas Connection – the perfect place to find handcrafted gifts, unique crafts, and holiday entertainment.
From November 18th – 20th, the I-X Center will be transformed into a winter wonderland complete with over 500 booths featuring a wide assortment of holiday gift ideas. From candles to jewelry, from gourmet coffee to chocolate covered pretzels and much more, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list.
A new “Shop and Drop” area will allow attendees to drop off purchases so you don’t have to lug them around with you or make multiple trips out to the car. Also, complimentary gift wrapping will be provided.
As you shop, Christmas Connection will be featuring live entertainment all weekend long. With local bands, dance teams, and choirs, including the Singing Angels, seasonal tunes will help get everyone in the holiday spirit.
The kids are certain to love the opportunity to shop for their own gifts for others at The Sugar Plum Shop. And in Gingerbread Lane, the first 500 children can decorate and eat their own holiday cookie ornament. There will also be the opportunity for a “make and take” gingerbread house workshop.
The USO will also be at the event to support the troops overseas. You can sign and share a holiday message with 10,000 holiday cards donated by American Greetings.
And that’s not all. A 30-foot Santa from Blaine Kearns Studios in New Orleans will be on display, as well as an intricate miniature circus, and a model train station too. There is also the opportunity, with the purchase of a limited upgrade ticket, to have Breakfast with Santa which includes a special present and a photo with Santa – be sure to bring your own camera!
