Hyatt Place Greensboro Review

Accommodations provided.

On our road trip back from our family reunion in Charleston, we broke up the trip by staying overnight at the Hyatt Place Greensboro.

Hyatt Greensboro NCIt was the perfect place to stop for a rest on our trip. The lobby was inviting and I was very impressed by the courtesy of those at the front desk.

Hyatt Place Greensboro LobbyThey were friendly, kind, and attentive. I appreciated the short tour I was given of the lobby area as well as the fitness center and e-room.

Hyatt Place Fitness & Business CentersI was also glad they pointed out that while there were no vending machines available throughout the hotel, a Grab n’ Go Case was available that offered salads, sandwiches, bottled beverages, muffins, and cookies. That evening Dave snuck past the sleeping kids and bought some of the best chocolate chips cookies ever. They even served them warm. Yum!

Our room was lovely. The first thing that caught our eye was the long and comfortable couch.

Hyatt Place RoomIt pulled out into a bed and Kora and Logan were thrilled to sleep on it.

Hyatt Hotel ReviewAcross from the couch was a nice desk and a small bar area with a sink and mini-fridge.

Hyatt Place Room ReviewsI thought the single-cup coffee maker and selection of coffees and teas was a nice touch.

Hyatt Place CoffeeThere was a wall that separated the bedroom from the living area but it didn’t reach across the room. Instead, the tv was mounted between the two rooms and could be angled for better viewing depending on which room you were in.

Hyatt Place ReviewsThe bathroom was nice and the counter space was spacious which we took full advantage of getting ready the next morning!

Hyatt Place BathroomThe king Hyatt Grand Bed was comfortable and cozy.

Hyatt Hotel ReviewsI wrote above that we snacked on chocolate chip cookies from the lobby and must also mention the chocolates we were surprised with Loco for Coca. Divine! If you are in the area and you are a chocolate lover, these will hit the spot.

Hyatt Loco for CocoWe got up early to continue our trip but were happy to have a short respite from the road and enjoyed our breakfast in the dining room.

Hyatt BreakfastWhile we loved the hot sandwiches, the other breakfast items were wonderful as well. The french toast was delicious.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Greensboro and would recommend it to anyone in the area.

We live about 1 hour 20 min away from Greensboro. Amazing room and service the Hyatt offers. We have stayed at a few Hyatts and were extremely happy. Once in San Francisco and again in Maryland. Been a while haven’t been traveling in a long time. love your reviews, I feel like I’m there with you. We may get away once I get my medical problems settled down some. I will be looking for a Hyatt when we do get to travel. Thanks for very detailed review.

Free breakfasts have really made traveling easier, and cheaper. We took an 83-day trip in ’07 and it was a lifesaver.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
