Hugg-A-Planet Review

Kora and Logan love basic geography. One set of grandparents live in Michigan, so whenever they see a map of the United States they are always pointing out Ohio and Michigan and often want to know what the names of other locations too.

So when I was given the opportunity to review the Hugg-A-Planet line, I knew they would be excited to not only play with the planet shaped pillows, but also to learn some of the 600 places listed on Earth, over 400 places labeled on Mars, and over 100 places on the Moon.

When we opened the box at first we only saw the Earth and Mars, but then to Kora and Logan’s excited surprise, we discovered the moon was tucked into a pocket of the planet Earth. Along with the planets, we received a number of pamphlets full of informative facts about the Earth, Moon and Mars.

The kids love looking over all the names and places on the planets, they enjoy lying on them like pillows, and they are great for toddlers to play catch with because they are so soft no one gets hurt!

Logan didn’t feel like starring in this photo op, so only Kora is modeling the Hugg-A-Planets today.

This last one is the moon. She thinks it’s so cute, because it’s smaller than the others and gets tucked away in the Earth’s pocket.
The Hugg-A-Planet line would make a great gift for toddlers on up. Although most of the names are too difficult for them to remember or pronounce at this age, it is a wonderfully educational and fun toy that will grow with them for years to come.
The Earth with the Moon in it’s Pocket retails for $34.95.
Mars retails for $18.95.

Thank you to Peace Toys for providing my family with the Earth, Moon, and Mars Hugg-A-Planets to review. No other compensation was recieved for this review. The opinions expressed in this review are mine, you may have a different experience.

Those are really cute and we've been looking for a globe for Spencer because he is so into geography too. He definitely gets it from his Daddy because I have no clue! Michigan is next to Washington, right…just kidding, I'm not that bad!
