As I mentioned above, we love getting a tax refund (who doesn’t?!) and one of the things I would do if we had one this year is put it towards some of our house projects. We’ve got a lot going on around here between remodeling our kitchen, guest room, and sun room as well as some odd jobs like painting and resurfacing our hardwood floors. To have a little extra money go towards these projects would get them done sooner and we could enjoy our home more fully without having the projects always hanging over our heads.
But that’s my more practical side talking.
What I’d really love to do is to use it to take Kora & Logan on a Disney Cruise before they get too old to enjoy it. Right now they are 7 & 6 and I think it’s the perfect age to capture all the excitement and joy on the trip and it would give us truly special memories as a family.
