We are a family of allergy sufferers. Dave is allergic to grass, cats, and dogs, and has a touch of hay fever. Logan is also allergic to cats. I’m allergic to dust and mold. Kora seems to have a few allergies too but we can’t seem to pinpoint them just yet.
That’s why when I heard about the Honeywell True HEPA Tower Allergen Remover I knew it would be a wonderful product to have in our home.
Many years ago when I was in college my mom bought me a Honeywell air filter and I loved it. It lasted a really long time and I was sad when it finally saw it’s last days. I’ve always had another air filter on my wishlist so when the Honeywell Allergen Remover arrived I was thrilled.
I immediately took it out of the box and had it up and running in minutes.
The Honeywell True HEPA Tower Allergen Remover is the #1 allergist recommend air purifier and it captures 99.7% of microscopic airborne allergens including pollen, mold spores, dust, smoke, and pet dander. It also comes with a carbon pre-filter that helps reduce unpleasant odors. It also circulates the air throughout a room in only 5 hours. Impressive!
I like that the manual controls are easy to use and that it offers 3 cleaning levels. I find the option of changing the levels handy when I feel the air is little more stuffy than usual. I know the ability to change the cleaning levels will also come in handy in the spring and summer when we have the windows open and the pollen makes it way into the house.
The electronic filter monitor is also easy to read and makes it simple to know when to change the filters
The Honeywell True HEPA Tower Allergern Remover is a fantastic air purifier and one we highly recomend to anyone looking to breathe cleaner air and to remove common allergens from their home.
That’s why I’m excited to offer the giveaway below!
But first I must share with you a few Clean Air Tips from veteran home contractor Danny Lipford.
Mold can hide out throughout the home. If your home smells moldy look at dry wall, wallpaper, or paneling, the top side of ceiling tiles, the underside of carpets, inside walls around pipes, inside ductwork, and in roof materials above ceiling tiles. But consider the help of a professional when investigating so not to release spores and make the problem worse!
Clean Air Tip
Have your heating ducts cleaned before you turn on your heat for the first time. Dust can easily accumulate in heating ducts and be forced out into the air in your home.
When cleaning your air purifier, use only a dry cloth to wipe the external surfaces of the air purifier. Do not use water, wax polish, or any chemical solution as it could damage the unit.
Improve the “ahh” factor in your home.
Even if you keep a clean house, dust has a way of finding its way into the home and collecting as soon as you wipe your furniture and countertops clean. Help reduce airborne dust particles with an air purifier. All Honeywell air purifiers are proven effective at capturing up to 95% or more of the dust that passes through their filters.
Home Sweet Home
When the weather permits and pollen counts are low, open up the windows and doors in your home to let fresh air in and allow it to circulate in the room. On days when pollen is high, try using an air purifier to help capture airborne pollutants and allergens, such as dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke and mold spores.
