VeggieTales Happy Together DVD Review & Giveaway – CLOSED

♪ “If you like to talk to tomatoes, If a squash can make you smile, If you like to waltz with potatoes, Up and down the produce aisle…Have we got a show for you! VeggieTales, VeggieTales, VeggieTales, VeggieTales,VeggieTales, VeggieTales, VeggieTales, VeggieTales!” ♪ That’s a familiar song in our house and always sure to put everyone in a good mood. VeggieTales DVDs are among Mackenzie’s favorites to watch.

I’m pretty sure we’ve seen the Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything at least 1,000 times and surprisingly it hasn’t made me want to rip my hair out yet.

Larry the Cucumber and his Veggie friends are back in a brand new DVD VeggieTales Happy Together. Mackenzie was super excited and wanted to watch it right away when it arrived in our mailbox.

Happy Together features 3 stories – Sheerluck Holmes & the Golden Ruler about friendship and working together with our friends; The Grapes of Wrath, about family and forgiveness, and a story about faith in Esther: The Girls Who Became Queen who taught us that with faith we can have strength to do anything.

All three of the stories were uplifting, funny videos about doing what is right in can’t fail VeggieTale fashion.

I thought the moments with the Veggie Kids – unscripted and voiced by real children – was both really cute and thought-provoking.

Three Happy Songs are also included in the bonus features and that was Emma’s favorite part of the DVD. She squealed, clapped her hands and danced to “Pants”, which I found to be hilarious and I’m still singing it in my head.

As expected, VeggieTales Happy Togetheris another fantastic DVD from our favorite veggie friends that will be getting a lot of viewing time at our house. This DVD would make a fantastic Valentine’s Day gift for the little ones in your life!
