I have to be honest…I scheduled this post last night so I could sleep in on Mother’s Day. I’ve been battling a nasty cold and right now my bed sounds so warm and comfy that I plan to spend most of the morning in it on Mother’s Day!
I am excited though for today because Kora and Logan have been talking about Mother’s Day all week. They made gifts at school that they are trying their best not to tell me about and they’ve made cards for me too. In fact, they gave me the cards already with special instructions not to look at them until “Valentine’s Day” – they get a little mixed up!

Not sure what our plans are for today but I do think a delicious homemade Mother’s Day Brunch may be in the works, we’ll have to see. Whatever the plan is though, I’m sure it will involve lots of sleeping in, adorable gifts, and yummy food.
