I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Glad. I received products to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s a wonderful time to get together with family and everyone is always happy to spend time together, eat good food, and give thoughtful gifts beautifully wrapped. I come from a long line of gift wrappers. Many families enjoy gifts in bags and there are many wonderful gift bags out there, but my family loves to wrap. It doesn’t stop with the paper either, we also add big beautiful bows and gorgeous gift tags too.
While I’m normally a neat person, seeing the paper, boxes, bows, and tags scattered in big piles around the room really makes me feel like Christmas. We don’t let it sit out too long and once we are done unwrapping and showing off our gifts it’s clean up time.
Thankfully this year we will have Glad Black Bags to help us clean up.
There are rules for the clean up however. One set of bags is for paper and one set is for bows. Years ago we used to save the paper but times have changed and now we toss it. With 4 kids under 9 it usually ends up getting ripped and torn anyway. We keep the bows in separate bags so we can untie them and use them next year.
We usually put a big dent in our garbage bags trying to gather everything up. This year with the Glad Black Bags we’ll be able to use far fewer bags because of the ForceFlex technology. We be able to put more into the bags because they are Extra Strong and we won’t have to worry about them tearing and leaving a mess to clean up.
We are excited to have these bags along to brighten up our holidays this year. Making the mess on Christmas is always fun. Cleaning it up, not so much. With Glad Black Bags clean up will go much more quickly and we’ll be able to save money but not having to use as many bags.
I’m also happy to share that Glad has teamed up with Tori Spelling to host a fun Facebook series, OMG Extra: After The Wild Life, which features the cast of animal characters from last year’s mock reality series, The Wild Life. It’s a cute series and there’s a fun game too under the tab “Missing in the Mess.” To check it out, simply “Like” Glad on Facebook.
This should be a fun and festive holiday season and I’m looking forward to tackling our many upcoming messes with Glad Black Bags.
What about you? What are some of your favorite holiday mess memories?
