We love our dog Yoshi. As Kora says, “Our lives changed forever when we adopted her.” She’s an amazing dog – she’s very smart, she learns tricks quickly, she adores the kids, she loves to cuddle, she is calm (most of the time), and she listens (most of the time). We got very lucky and we couldn’t have asked for a better dog.
Not only has she brought a lot of love to our house, she’s also brought a lot of dog hair. You’d think with her type of fur she wouldn’t shed too much and if she did it would be black and/or brown. The funny thing is our house is covered in white dog hair! She has a little patch of white on her chest but we think she has a white undercoat.
You dog owners out there can relate, we find her dog hair all over the house, all the time! That’s why I was excited to be given the chance to review the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Vacuum from Best Buy.
This vacuum is available at Best Buy on March 1st and is part of the new line of Dyson upright vacuums with Cinetic technology. It’s the first vacuum cleaner to never lose suction and it requires no filter maintenance or replacement. Dyson was the first to get rid of the bag and now they’re getting rid of the filter!
What is Cinetic Technology?
- New Cinetic cyclones are the smallest yet, so they can spin out the finest dust and dirt. They oscillate to dislodge any particles that would typically get stuck in a cyclone that small.
- Cinetic cyclones allow for dust capture so small, that a filter becomes unnecessary. Thus, there are no dirty filters to wash, maintain or replace.
- Tested and proven with 10 years worth of dust. (Others claim “no loss of suction” by only testing one bin full of dust. Dyson used the equivalent of 10 years worth, and Dyson Cinetic never lost suction.)
It also has a cleaner head that self-adjusts to seal in suction across carpets and hard floors.
Then I decided to put it to the test. After vacuuming a small area with my Dyson DC65 Animal, I ran the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Vacuum over my carpet again.
I was amazed at all the fine particles, dirt, and dog hair it still picked up!
Here’s the after pictures once I vacuumed the entire living room.
Yuck! I can’t believe I thought the carpet was clean before!
As you can see this vacuum does a fantastic job and it has really made a difference for us around the house. The dog hair after using it is now minimal. I look forward to using it frequently and I’m happy with how well it cleans both our floors and our furniture with the included tools.
There’s even a nice bag for the accessories.
The Tangle-free Turbine Tool has counter-rotating heads with brushes that remove hair from carpets and upholstery and there’s no brush bar for hair to wrap around and get stuck. I like how easy this tool is to use, it’s flexible which allows it to maintain contact on uneven surfaces.
I also am amazed at how the Cinetic Technology works. Having no filter to clean along with the bagless technology makes vacuuming a breeze. This vacuum’s canister has a .55-gal. capacity which means it can hold more for less emptying.
Simply run the vacuum and empty the canister every so often. That’s all it takes for me to keep our house free of dog hair and allergens and I never have to worry about cleaning the filter, buying a new one, or the vacuum losing suction.
The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Vacuum is available at Best Buy on March 1st. I recommend it to those battling pet hair and allergies and to those who want a vacuum that offers the latest technology that makes life easier and cleaner.
I’m thinking of investing in a good vacuum sometime this year. Between the kids, a dog, and two cats I feel like the vacuum we have just can’t keep up. P.s. I love the photos in this post. So cute!
