When we layed our patio several years ago, we used regular paver sand purchased from a big box store. The result was that much of the paver sand was being washed away during heavy rainstorms.
With the use of EnviroSAND, we no longer have this problem.
The EnviroSAND is a combination of traditional jointing sand and an organic glue made from a renewable plant resource. The organic glue binds the sand particles together every time EnviroSand gets wet. This prevents the sand from washing out of the joints.
Another problem we had with our patio is grass growing between the pavers due to the seeding of our lawn. EnviroSAND acts as a natural weed deterrent. By elevating the pH of the material, EnviroSAND creates an environment in which seeds can’t germinate.

What a difference between before and after. I have never liked paving stones because of the cracks between them. But with Enviro Sand, it looks like you put mortar between them. Really puts a nice finishing touch to the pavers.
